Dr. Damian Pestana graduated from University of California Davis in 1969 with honors. He then earned his M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Pestana completed his internship in 1974 at St. Louis University Hospital, served as a full time emergency room physician from 1974 until 1976 and completed his residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in 1978. He is licensed to practice in California and Hawaii.
Dr. Pestana, who was born in Hawaii, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. During his professional career, Dr. Pestana has presented numerous lectures. He is skilled in all aspects of gastroenterology procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP and liver biopsy.
